teh end is a project by San Francisco native Todd Keffury.
Multi-instrumentalist Keffury reconnected with music after a long hiatus. His journey through music has been a personal mix of performing and critical listening.
The trajectory of that relationship is, if nothing else, amusing: fell in love with first Kiss album; took up electric bass at 13; had first studio session at 19; studied orchestral conducting and composition at UC, Berkeley and abandoned music because of it.
In 2011, Keffury felt the need to experience life in a developing nation, so he moved to Las Vegas. The weather’s nice, at least.
teh end features an eclectic blend of influences…from Dmitri Shostakovich to Count Basie to Nine Inch Nails. For Keffury, each of these artists has been able to transcend the mastery of their craft to create works that come up from out of the earth and kick you in the ass.
